Akakiy Akakievich Bashmachkin comes to work at the department every day. The everyday life of the inconspicuous official is grey, the city is unfriendly, and his colleagues are indifferent. One day she appears in his life. Beautiful, good and cosy. Only her warmth is able to warm the big soul of the ‘little man’. But everything comes to an end. It would seem that we have before us an ordinary story of the loneliness of the hero who could not come to terms with his loss. But the play breaks the rules of the game and enters the genre of anecdote. Tragedy intertwines with comedy, and reality with mysticism....
