Blood Moon (2024)
Four couples - two from Kazakhstan and two from Russia - win a long-awaited holiday in a secluded chalet located in the picturesque mountainous regions of Almaty. It should be the perfect weekend full of relaxation, entertainment and pleasant encounters. However, when they arrive, they discover that the place is not as safe and welcoming as it seemed at first glance.
Soon, as the couples gather in the chalet, unexpected events occur. The expected idyll is replaced by chaos when a massive avalanche hits the mountain and all roads are blocked. Cut off from the outside world, with no communication and no way to escape, the heroes find themselves in complete isolation, and their only hope is to interact with each other, which soon turns into a struggle for survival.
But the most terrifying trials await them ahead. Strange and frightening incidents begin to happen in the chalet, and the relationship between the couple begins to crack at the seams. It soon becomes clear that this isolation hides a much darker threat. At some point it becomes clear that each of the guests could fall victim to a ruthless game of elimination, and only those who can keep a grip on their psyche will survive.
Blood Moon is a tense thriller that explores the limits of the human psyche and loyalty, forcing the characters to make terrible decisions and go to extreme measures. With trust between people rapidly disappearing and fear becoming the only friend they have, the question of survival becomes not only physical but also moral.
