An interesting programme ranging from composers of the Baroque era to the music of Kazakh kuishi is presented by the ensemble Galymzhan Narymbetov SEPTET, created in 2020 under the direction of Galymzhan Narymbetov, winner of international and national competitions, holder of the order “Pride of Nations”, member of the International Association of Bayanists and Accordionists of the World.

In a short period of time the ensemble Galymzhan Narymbetov SEPTET has made a name for itself in the international cultural space, having won first prize at the Accordion Star International (USA, 2022, 2023) and Euro Music Festival (2023).

 

The ensemble consists of winners of international and national competitions:

Bibigul Zhanuzak, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan (soprano)

Yerkebulan Saparbayev, Holder of the Order of Kurmet (first violin)

Kanat Sakibayev (second violin)

Darkhan Sadvakasov, Madeniyet Salasynyn Uzdigi (viola)

Musa Kerimbayev, Madeniyet Salasynyn Uzdigi (cello)

Bekezhan Rakishev (double bass)

Arman Zhaiym, Holder of the Order of Kurmet (piano)

Galymzhan Narymbetov (bayan, bandoneon, accordion)

 

The concert programme features works by J.S. Bach, A. Piazzolla, R. Galliano, A. Zhaiym, and folk kuis.

 

Tickets purchased at the Astana Opera are exchangeable and refundable only in cases of cancelled or postponed performances. In all other cases, no refunds and exchanges are possible.
