Memorial evening of Eskendir Khasangaliev in Almaty

On 13 February 2025, within the framework of the organisation of the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy, a concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan, famous singer, composer and musician Eskendir Khasangaliev will be held. This jubilee event will be a special evening dedicated to the work of Eskendir Khasangaliev, an outstanding figure of Kazakh culture.

The main purpose of the concert is to popularise the work of the great Kazakh artist Eskendir Khasangaliev, his musical heritage, as well as to immortalise his contribution to the Kazakh song art. The concert programme will feature some of Eskendir Khasangaliev's most famous songs, and the event aims to bring the significance of his art to young people.

The concert will feature the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy, as well as famous singers and pop stars. This evening the most famous works of Eskendir Khasangaliev will be performed, his songs that have taken a deep place in the heart of the Kazakh people. Each work will be performed by the orchestra and soloists in a new sound.
