VIOLIN MUSIC CONCERT

Soloist – Alexey Lundin (violin, Moscow)

On September 18, the well-known Russian musician, soloist and concertmaster of the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Honoured Artist of Russia Alexey Lundin will give a concert.

During his work with the orchestra, Alexey Lundin performed at the world's best concert venues, as well as collaborated with the renowned musicians of our time. Along with Maestro V. Spivakov, Alexey Lundin has performed and recorded double concertos by J.S. Bach and A. Vivaldi, as well as various chamber works of the Baroque era.

The musician’s repertory includes violin concertos by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, J. Haydn, A. Vivaldi, and A. Schnittke, which he has performed along with the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra under the direction of V. Spivakov, S. Sondeckis, V. Simkin, Y. Frants, and T. Currentzis.

Alexey Lundin is known not only as a brilliant violinist, effectively developing his solo career, but also as a well-learned musician and a person of immense charm, who sincerely believes that “people have a lack of classical music”.

The concert programme will include works by Kazakh, Russian and Western European composers which will be performed by the Astana Opera Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdinov.
