On 19 February, an evening of Russian art songs “From Glinka to Sviridov with love” will take place in the Astana Opera Chamber Hall.

In the cozy romantic atmosphere, created by the stage decorations, art songs of famous composers of the 19th and 20th centuries will be heard by the audience.

The secret of the elusive charm of the romance genre, revealing the world of a human soul, lies in the sincerity and depth of feelings, the expressive melody, and hearty intonation.

The concert programme features art songs by M. Glinka, A. Dargomyzhsky, M. Balakirev, C. Cui, N. Rimsky-Korsakov, P. Tchaikovsky, D. Shostakovich and G. Sviridov.
