The recital “For You, My Kazakhstan!” by the renowned opera singer Mariya
Mudryak, which will take place in the Main Hall of the theatre, will be dedicated to the
Day of the First President and the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of
Kazakhstan.
Baritone Vladimir Stoyanov (Bulgaria) and the Astana Opera Symphony Orchestra will
also take part in the concert programme. Conductor – Alvise Casellati (Italy).
The recital will feature arias, duets and scenes from operas by G. Rossini, G. Verdi, C.
Gounod, songs by E. de Curtis, L. Khamidi and other composers.
Maria Mudryak is a Kazakhstani opera singer, soprano with coloratura. Under the
Bolashak Presidential programme she studied in Milan at the Higher Academy of Music,
also successfully graduated from the Verdi State Conservatory and was awarded a
master’s degree. She is a winner of international competitions, including Plácido
Domingo's Operalia (2017).
In a short time, she became one of the most sought-after coloratura sopranos of her
generation, becoming renowned for her performances on the stages of well-known
theatres – the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Shaanxi Grand Opera House in China, the
Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Bolshoi Theatre in
Moscow, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Arena di Verona, Deutsche Oper Berlin,
Melbourne Opera and many others.
She has collaborated with such prominent conductors as Riccardo Muti, Daniel Oren,
Carlo Rizzi, Massimo Zanetti, Plácido Domingo, etc.
Since January 2015, she has been a soloist with the Astana Opera House. The singer's
repertoire includes leading roles from world opera classics.
Vladimir Stoyanov is one of the most famous Bulgarian singers who have received
worldwide recognition.
Graduated from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, made his debut in the Burgas
Opera House and has performed in leading theatres of the world: La Scala (Milan),
Staatsoper (Vienna), Metropolitan (New York), Opernhaus (Zürich) and others, as well

as in theatres in Tokyo and Moscow. He has collaborated with such outstanding
conductors of our time as Zubin Mehta, Seiji Ozava, Daniel Oren, Riccardo Muti, Marco
Armiliato, etc.; directors as Franco Zeffirelli, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Stefan Herheim,
Arnaud Bernard and others.
Performed the roles of Giorgio Germont in La traviata, Iago in Otello, Rodrigo in Don
Carlos by G. Verdi and others.
Alvise Casellati is an Italian conductor. He graduated from the Padua Conservatory in
violin, combining musical education with law studies, and received a master's degree
from Columbia University. Studied in the orchestral conducting class at the Juilliard
School in New York. He made his debut at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
He collaborates with the most important Italian theatres, has performed with the
orchestras of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa
Cecilia, symphony orchestras of Italian cities, as well as the Shanghai Philharmonic
Orchestra, the Central Park Symphony Orchestra (New York), the Kyiv Virtuosi
Orchestra, etc. Guest conductor of many music festivals in Italy, as well as in Bratislava
(Slovakia), Cartagena (Spain), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Gabala (Azerbaijan); Mittelfest and
Baltic Music Seasons festivals.
Founder and Music Director of the “Opera Italiana is in the Air” project in New York,
whose main task is to introduce young listeners to the Italian opera heritage.
In the 2019/2020 season, he conducted the State Academic Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra
named after P.I. Tchaikovsky at the Zaryadye Concert Hall, as well as a concert
performance of Verdi's Nabucco at the Mariinsky Theatre.
