MOZART, YOU ARE GOD…”

The concert will feature the laureate of international competitions, scholarship holder of the Bolashak Presidential Programme and graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music Galiya Bissengaliyeva (violin, Great Britain), Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Aigul Niyazova (soprano) and the Astana Opera Chamber Orchestra. Conductor – Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdinov.

Being a soloist of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic, Galiya Bissengaliyeva honorably represents the Kazakh performing arts abroad. She is a winner of the “Musician of the Year 2004” Festival in Staffordshire County. Galiya is a favourite of English music lovers and welcome guest at the most prestigious halls.

She was lucky to collaborate with such orchestras as Opera Sinfonia, the London Youth Orchestra, the Sheffield Chamber Orchestra, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan, the Symphony Orchestra of India under the direction of such famous conductors as C.Davis, Y.P.Tortelier, M.Elder, T.Pinnock, F.Mansurov, A.Anisimov, V.Ashkenazy, I.Widler, E.Buschkov, R.Salavatov and V.Papian. Professor Zvi Zeitlin wrote very warm words about Galiya Bissengaliyeva describing her as a young talented musician of modern Kazakhstan: “Galya's violin playing is always a memorable event, a great holiday for the soul and heart!”

The Astana Opera Chamber Orchestra under the baton of the Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdinov will take part in the concert. The repertoire of the Chamber Orchestra includes works by Baroque composers (J.S.Bach, A.Vivaldi, G.Handel, A.Corelli, H.Purcell and others) and classical composers (W.A.Mozart, J.Haydn, L. van Beethoven). The Orchestra has performed along with such famous musicians as Alexey Lundin, Alexey Ludevig, Erzhan Kulibaev, Yermek Kurmanayev, Gianfranco Bortolato and others.
