Musical evenings from the Creators of Eternal Values series introduce you to outstanding representatives of musical styles – composers who became the founders of new genres and determined their future development.

The series opened with the music of Antonio Vivaldi, who is perceived as a symbol of the Baroque era. The second concert is dedicated to the work of another most influential representative of the Baroque era – the great German composer, polyphony master Johann Sebastian Bach – the author of more than 1000 works of different genres.

Johann Sebastian Bach is the greatest figure in world culture. The work of the versatile musician, who lived in the 18th century, embraces many genres (cantatas, oratorios, masses, concerts, suites, etc.). The German composer combined and united the traditions of the Protestant chorale with the traditions of music schools in Austria, Italy and France. Interest in the work and biography of the musician did not cool down two hundred years after the death of the composer. And in the 21st century, our contemporaries perform Bach's compositions and find relevance and depth in them.
