“Piano Through the Ages”

On 26 February 2017, the concert “Piano Through the Ages” from “His Majesty Grand Piano” series will take place.

The concert will include works by J.S.Bach, W.A.Mozart, F.Liszt and F.Chopin, performed by Kazakhstani pianist Daniyar Yessimkhanov.

A graduate of the A.Zhubanov Republican Special Music School for Gifted Children (class of G.Melkova). At age 14, he made his debut with the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 1999, he began studying at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (Federal Republic of Germany), class of Professor Vladimir Krainev.

Since 2001, he has been giving recitals and performing with orchestras in different cities of Germany, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France, Morocco, the USA and Kazakhstan.

Holder of the Bolashak presidential scholarship (2005-2007).

Winner of international competitions in Greece (2006, 2007) and the USA (2009), participant of such international festivals as “Kasseler Musikfest” (Federal Republic of Germany), “Animato” (Paris, France) and “Amici della Pianoforte” (San Daniele, Italy).

Since 2009, he has been a soloist of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic Society. Since 2010, he has been teaching at the piano department of the Kazakh National University of Arts. Participated in numerous concerts both in his home country (Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar), and abroad (Paris, London).
