“Paris – Astana: From Debussy to Zhubanova
On January 26, the “Paris – Astana: From Debussy to Zhubanova” instrumental concert will take place in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House.
The guests of the evening - musicians from France - will play music by Kazakhstani composers, and Kazakhstani artists will perform works by French authors.
For the first time after completion of the contract with the Mariinsky Orchestra, winner of international competitions Kalamkas Zhumabayeva (violin) will perform before the Astana audience in the new season.
Renowned French musicians - violinist Hugues Borsarello and cellist Gauthier Herrmann have already performed at the Astana Opera and were very well-received by the audience. Piano – prize winner of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation Gaukhar Tasbergenova.
