On October 8, as part of the 3rd International Silk Road Festival, “A Musical Journey around Vienna” concert will take place.

The Astana Opera and guest artists will lift the veil of musical life of the Austrian capital for the Astana audiences. The history of Vienna gives this city its special charm; there are cafes, apartments and streets that have still been keeping the atmosphere in which great composers who gave the world masterpieces of world classics lived and worked. The city views of the period when Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven and Richard Strauss (music director of the famous Vienna State Opera) lived will appear before the audience.

Some works will be performed on the Kazakhstani stage for the first time. At the invitation of the Astana Opera, the famous Europian pianist from Vienna, Stephan Matthias Lademann who specializes in German chamber music, will give a concert. In a duet with the Astana Opera soprano soloist Madina Islamova, a graduate of the Vienna Conservatory, they will perform arias and romantic songs by well-known Viennese composers.
