The concert Music of Light is dedicated to the heritage of Kazakhstani musicians representing the renowned Zhubanov dynasty.

The founder of national professional music, musicologist, People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR Akhmet ZHUBANOV; an outstanding composer of the twentieth century, public figure, professor, People's Artist of the USSR Gaziza ZHUBANOVA – the author of the chamber and symphonic compositions, works for orchestra of folk instruments, composer for theatre performances and films; a polymusician Alibi MAMBETOV and a young contemporary composer who worthily continues the musical dynasty – Karina IZMAILOVA: their music will be performed this evening by well-known Kazakhstani musicians, artists of the Astana Opera Orchestra, as well as talented students of the class of Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Professor Dina Azerbaizhanovna Mambetova.
