The concert will feature works by the greatest Austrian classical composers W.A. Mozart and J. Haydn.

The special pre-New Year’s eve atmosphere of the evening, the charm of the talent, the highest level of artists’ mastery, and the variety of musical genres of the era of classicism will win the hearts of the audience.

The wonderful musicians of the Astana Opera Chamber Orchestra and soloist Ordabek Duissen (violin, USA) will perform on stage.

Ordabek Duissen is a well-known Kazakhstani violinist, laureate of the Republican and International Competitions. He was awarded the Madeniyet Salasynyn Uzdigi badge of honour and the State Youth Award “Daryn”. Ordabek Duissen is Concertmaster of the Dallas Opera Orchestra (USA), Honorary Artist and Visiting Professor at the University of Colima (Mexico), a member of Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Concertmaster at the AIMS Summer Festival in Graz, Austria.

Born into a family of musicians (his father plays dombra and is a kyuishi, and mother plays piano). Ordabek Duissen graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Music, completed his postgraduate training program and received a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas (USA). He tours in the CIS countries, the European Union, Asia and the USA. He has participated in various international music festivals, including “World Artistic Youth Day” (Miami, USA), “Music of Laguna” (Italy), “Mozarteum” (Austria), and Pacific Music Festival (Japan). Ordabek also plays in a duo with his sister Dina in the “Duissen-Duo”. His concert programmes include works by Kazakh national composers in order to advance the musical culture of Kazakhstan abroad.

The winner of international competitions, violinist Ilyas Duissen, who continues this glorious musical dynasty, will make his debut as a conductor.
