“Around the World with the Kazakh Quartet”

On 30 April 2017, the famous Gaziza Zhubanova State String Quartet will give a concert.

This is one of the finest chamber ensembles not only in Kazakhstan but also in the world: numerous titles and awards given by many prestigious international music forums are a testimony to it. The G. Zhubanova Quartet is notable for great performance mastery, filigree-playing technique, clean and harmonious sound, which is achieved not only thanks to talent, but also thanks to endless hard work.

The Quartet continues a series of concerts from “Around the World with the Kazakh Quartet” series given in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House, presenting the Latin American composers’ music. Wherever the musicians perform and whatever the programme of the concert is, they always play the works by the Kazakh composers.
