“My Love is Opera”

A wonderful concert featuring opera singers of the Astana Opera House and Sargis Bazhbeuk-Melikyan, a guest from Armenia, will be held in the Chamber Hall and accompanied by the chief accompanist of the opera company Yelena Sakhno.

All the participants of the musical evening are opera singers, well-known not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. They have been recognized through participation in international competitions, festivals and projects. The favorite with the public Saltanat Akhmetova became popular after winning the Grand Prix of The Big Opera International Project organized by the Russia-Kultura TV Channel. By demonstrating a high level of professionalism, she attracted a swarm of fans.

The rich performing repertoire of the baritone Talgat Mussabayev includes major opera, symphonic, chamber and concert works. Thanks to the multifaceted nature of his talent, he is known in Kazakhstan and abroad, and cooperates with many artistic teams of the Republic, working in different musical styles and genres. Both the Kazakh national and foreign classics are in the power of his beautiful voice.

The guest of the concert Sargis Bazhbeuk-Melikyan, a young bass from Armenia, has frequently performed at the Astana Opera House and won the hearts of the audience with his deep and powerful voice, and artistic charm. To many victories at prestigious international competitions, the singer added the Grand Prix and the title of laureate of the 4th Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition at the end of 2017.

The concert will feature masterpieces of world opera classics.
