“Classical music and not only it…”

On February 25, the renowned Kazakhstani instrumentalists Yermek Kurmanayev (cello), Arman Tleubergenov (piano) and the Astana Opera tenor soloist Meir Bayneshov will perform in the “Classical music and not only it…” concert, which will be held in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House. They invite the audience to the evening, during which classical, chamber and vocal arrangements of popular Neapolitan and Kazakh songs will be performed.

The brilliant virtuoso performer and profound musician Yermek Kurmanayev, a winner of international competitions in Austria, Poland, Russia and France and laureate of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honourably represents the Kazakh performing art abroad.

His creative duet with the great pianist Armand Tleubergenov was formed about 10 years ago and was highly acclaimed at the T. Gaidamovich International Competition for Chamber Ensemble Performance in Magnitogorsk, where the duet was awarded the first prize in 2009.

The Astana Opera soloist Meir Bayneshov is a laureate of international competitions and the winner of the first prize at the International Competition “Romansiada” in Moscow. He trained in Italy. His repertoire includes leading opera roles along with popular Neapolitan, Russian and Kazakh songs and romances.
