“I am grateful to you...”

Concert of Arno Babajanian’s Works

The Astana Opera House invites everyone to “I am grateful to you…” concert. Every people has its own distinguished musicians, who belong to the whole humankind. Such 20th century composers were Akhmet Zhubanov, Latif Khamidi, Rodion Shchedrin, Zachary Paliashvili, Alexander Spendiaryan, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Arno Babajanian, Mukan Tulebayev and others.

The programme will include celebrated vocal and instrumental works by the 20th century composers.

The concert will feature the stars of the Kazakhstani musical art – Honoured Workers of Kazakhstan Margarita Dvoretskaya, Zhan Tapin, Baigali Mombekov, Sundet Baigozhin, Honoured Artists of Bashkortostan Alfiya Karimova and Artur Kaipkulov; Tatyana Vitsinskaya, Yevgeniy Chainikov as well as  instrumentalists: Liubov Tkachenko (harp), Nargiz Yerezhepova, Kirill Krassyukov (violin), Zhanar Akhatova (viola), Kurvanzhan Akhatov (cello), Anatoliy Yakushkin (double bass), Murat Omarov (percussion); the Astana Opera Choir under the direction of the chief choirmaster, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Dautov. Accompanist – Madeniyet kairatkeri Yelena Sakhno.

Pianist Guldana Zholymbetova (USA) will also take part in the concert as a special guest.
